Our superior traditional Japanese skill and modern technology offers the best selection of finest alloys, ergonomic handles, micro precision and unbelievable sharpness for accurate and fine cuttings. We are only buying our steel from the best steel manufacturer - Hitachi in Japan. Our scissors are truly handmade. After the raw-scissors is made by the steel manufacturer, all shaping, sharpening and polishing is done by hand. Even our less expensive line scissors are handmade here in Korea, just in the same manner as our best quality scissors. Our sharpening method is the true Japanese hand sharpening that has been used for many years by the best Japanese scissor smiths. Actually only a few factories in the world is still making the scissors this way. We are using specific grits and sharpening stones to create an edge that prevents the hairs from being pushed on the blades. This can only be accomplished on hand made scissors.
